Features of ArchT 2000+
Purchase ArchT
Expanded Autolayer Control |
AutoCAD and IntelliCAD commands
can now be assigned layers within Autolayer. Autolayer also uses
an "Explorer Style" dialog interface. This facilitates
layer name, color, and linetype grouping as in the AutoCAD 2000/2002
layer dialog. |
= |
Ease of use and increased drafting
speed |
Example: Dimensions, Text and
Mview Objects, as well as any drawn entity, can now be automatically
inserted on an office standard or assigned layer.
Enhanced Reporting Features |
The ArchT Reporting functionality
has been improved to allow the user to determine which data fields
are required for a query. Previous versions of ArchT reports
could automatically limit selection sets to certain specific
objects, such as All Walls or All Doors. |
= |
Expanded capability and increased
productivity |
Example: A report could be designed to
include all furniture symbols. However, anything could be a furniture
"object." Therefore, user-specified data fields in reports can be tagged
as "required" to complete the query. If, for instance, a block does not
have a required record field named "furniture_mfr" it is not considered
furniture and is eliminated from the report query. And so two
potentially identical blocks can be treated as totally different object
types.
Customizable Annotation Symbols |
ArchT annotation symbols now have
style templates. Users can customize ArchT annotation symbol
properties to match their office standards. Symbols include:
Detail, Section, and Keynote symbols. |
= |
Easily customized to meet your
users needs. |
Example: Walls, windows and
doors can now be stretched, copied, moved, mirrored, arrayed,
offset, broken and exploded using native commands. Windows and
doors can be grip-edited while maintaining their associativity
with walls.
Native Commands for ArchT entities |
ArchT now supports the native
AutoCAD and IntelliCAD editing commands. |
= |
Shorter learning curve, ease of
use |
Example: Walls, windows and
doors can now be stretched, copied, moved, mirrored, arrayed,
offset, broken and exploded using native commands. Windows and
doors can be grip-edited while maintaining their associativity
with walls.
Automatic Numbering |
Doors, Windows & Rooms can
be numbered automatically. Tags can be added automatically and
updated during the renumbering process. Numbering can be carried
out in a variety of methods, including by grouping. |
= |
Increased speed and convenience |
Example: Doors can be grouped
by room number using a letter increment. If a door is modified
the number is automatically updated unless overridden.
Associative Polylines |
Polylines can now be used as boundaries
to automatically group data; identify rooms, zones, work areas,
detail modules, buildings, etc. |
= |
Expanded capabilities and increased
productivity |
Example: If a record designed
to store a room number is attached to a polyline, an associative
tag dropped within the polyline boundary will automatically display
the room name. Move, or copy, the associative tag to within the
boundary of a different polyline and a new room name is automatically
reported.
Additional Example: By defining
room boundaries in a plan with a polyline, ArchT reports can
be generated which lists the furniture and equipment grouped
and sub-totaled by room. If you move a chair into another room,
the report will recognize the change and revise the sub-total
automatically.
Support
for both IntelliCAD
& Autodesk's AutoCAD |
ArchT licenses for
IntelliCAD, AutoCAD R14, 2000, 2002 versions on same CD. |

New Drafting Utilities |
- Dimension editing
tools allow users to glue, break, and align dimension strings
- Text dialog lets
users edit text properties
- Keynotes can
generate legends across XREF's
- Entity editing
utilities: Copy+Rotate, Move+Rotate, Copy Multiple, Quick Scale
- Block editing
tools: "In place" block redefinition tools
- Paperspace
Utilities let users save and restore viewport specific settings, such
as viewport scale factors and viewport specific layer settings
(VPLAYER).
- Layer visibility: isolate and
restore
Navigator |
- Over 800 new blocks
added to Navigator including fasteners and molding profiles.
- Navigator now features an "Explorer
style" interface and supports docking in the AutoCAD window.
Improved User Interface |
- Standard
"Right-click" menus support all entity types for rapid in-place
editing.
- Long file name
support
- API enhancements
Floors & Ceilings |
ArchT can now create floors
& ceilings using the new lightweight modeling capabilities.
Floors and ceilings can be created from polylines (similar to
AutoCAD 3D solids), but can be grip-edited in place, as well
as converted between 2D plan views & 3D model views. This
feature can also be used to easily create counter tops, terrain,
3D steel, and other complex surfaces.
AccuRender 3 Support |
ArchT has been enhanced to
support the pre-assignment of AccuRender3 materials and mapping
coordinates. ArchT 3D blocks now contain material assignments
for AccuRender 3, as well as AutoCAD Render material assignments.
Detailing Components |
ArchT now includes steel shapes,
studs, joists, and track.
General Features |
2 licenses: ArchT
for IntelliCAD and ArchT for AutoCAD R14-2002 version on same CD.
Windows
95, 98, NT, 2000, XP.
