Autodsys is owned and operated by Ron Prepchuk, former IntelliCAD Developer Support Engineer for Visio Corporation, Executive Director of the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium, and developer and Product Manager for products like AutoLINE, AcceliCAD, and AcceliARCH. Ron has a history of creating innovative products and features. Ron has won numerous awards for his work including Highly Recommended ratings and Product of the Year by Cadalyst Magazine.

We can do programming in Lisp, VBA, C++, C#, ObjectARX, as well as menu and workspace customization.

  • Custom Entities - Objects that can appear differently depending on view or proximity to other objects
  • Parametric Blocks - blocks that adapt to changing conditions or input

Projects we have worked on:

  • Batch plotting - utilized spreadsheet files to select drawings, sheetsets, and options for plotting.
  • Network License Management - implemented a client and server to manage user licenses
  • Software as a service (SAAS) - implemented application licensing that allowed for temporary authentication of any duration and for different levels of functionality
  • Password protected content - implemented an app that allows suppliers to distribute their content in a secure manner that prevents overt infringement.  Content includes blocks, hatch patterns, and lisp files
  • Entity information window for AcceliCAD that allowed the preview of object attributes by hovering. This preceded features later found in AutoCAD and BricsCAD
  • Floating prompt menus that follow the cursor and pause when the user stops. This preceded features later found in AutoCAD and BricsCAD
  • 20 SHX fonts - created the SHX fonts that are supplied with IntelliCAD
  • Created more than 200 hatch patterns representing numerous architectural and geological material and a program to create patterns from drawings
  • Created software for Tri-Met (Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon) to automatically fix bad xref links in their entire database of thousands of DWG files
